Fly!No Matter What
This story starts with a modest proposal from 15 years ago. Back then, we were invited by the Taishin Bank Foundation for Arts and Culture's “Project-Oriented” program. We brought a simple sketch—a handcrafted model bird—and an idea: What would happen if this bird could fly into the hands of children throughout Taiwan? We quickly made 37,200 blank bird drawings, numbered and packed them before starting our journey. We called ourselves the “Weather Group” because no matter the weather, we were to fly to the next elementary school and enter the next classroom. In each classroom, children received a blank bird drawing. Some filled it with vibrant colors; others painted it with the colors of the sky; and some simply drew their dream destinations. This bird came to symbolize thousands of dreams about flying. It was a collective effort on a large scale. The drawings traveled among children—a simple beginning grew into a significant response. We wondered, “What kind of collaboration is this?” The answer was, “We are establishing a framework for freedom.” This framework was not a restriction but a runway for taking flight. Time flies quickly. More than a decade has gone by, and the children have grown up. The bird might be resting in memory, but we know it can fly again.

Collaboration, for us, is how new connections enter the system. It's not just about making a work— but about building a relationship together. If you're looking for organic and unexpected connections, let's start a conversation.
